Hello everyone and TGIF!
Mother's Day is this weekend so I wanted to share with you this beautiful and cheery tablescape I created today! I actually had my real life grandmother in mind when I started on this project. She just loves all things flowers, so when I spotted these beautiful floral slipcover chairs at Mudhoney, I knew I had to make them one of my accent pieces! In fact, they inspired much of the colors I used on the table. They have a ton of animations, rezz and attachable props, and under 300L; it was definitely a bargain in my eyes lol.
I decided to continue with the colorful scheme by adding in some light blue with the place setting, which is actually two settings combined into one by The Loft. I've had these marble slab pathways in my inventory for ages and finally put them to use, to function as a table runner! It's sort of like bringing your kitchen counter to the table and I think it adds a bit of depth and elegance to bring it all together nicely. The last item I would like to highlight is this gorgeous hanging garden ladder from this round at Uber by Kalopsia! I wanted to use it as a hanging centerpiece and modified in some hanging rope lights. This is something I've been seeing a lot of recently in real life interior design magazines and wedding blogs!
All in all, I wanted the space to feel light, cheerful, and full of vibrancy, just like my grandmother! I hope you enjoyed this post and it helped you gain some inspiration for your next social gathering! Rhea and I would like to wish all mothers out there a very happy mother's day :) none of us would be here if it wasn't for our mothers.
Here's to a lovely weekend x,
Kris
