Hello everybody and happy holidays!
This morning I'd like to share with you a glimpse into my holiday home for this year. The sim I recently moved into just changed over to snow for the winter a few weeks ago, giving me the perfect canvas to create the cozy home I was looking for.
The house is from DAD, called the Sweet heaven cottage. I modified it a bit and tinted some of the textures to better suit my needs, but we will talk more about that in an up and coming post! I added some string lights from Vespertine and Botanical to add a little holiday spirit, in a simple cream/gold color because my inspiration for the house was actually based on the Nordic winters and decor. Simplistic, natural, but elegant.

Inside the house, that same natural element is carried out with the wooded tables, the deer patterned pillows, the hanging wreaths by the window. I love neutral tones, but added in a pop of red with some of the decorating items. The Alpine Christmas tree that I picked up from this current round of C88 I feel just tied the whole room together and I'm really glad how everything turned out.
