Hey Inhome Expressionist!
Kris here, bringing you some awesome interior goodness to help you get through the work week! We were recently contacted by our good friend Matt who was seeking help in decorating his new home. The look he wanted was a modern industrial theme with natural tones. He told us he really wanted an office to work on his photography, and being our friend we knew he also loved sailing and flying planes; so you will see little elements of his hobbies throughout his home.
The house is an open concept made up of four main rooms: Living, Bar, Office, and Bedroom. The front part of the build had these beautiful floor to ceiling windows that we left untouched because the ocean view was breathtaking! He had this lovely chesterfield sofa from Apple Fall that he wanted to use in the living room, and it was a great starting point for us to build the design around the sofa. We added in some hanging and potted plants to help bring some of the natural green from outside in.
We carried the same color scheme into the bedroom, where Rhea modified this great ladder shelf into an opened closet. We added some blinds just to give a sense of privacy, and keeping with the theme, some track lighting and industrial lamps over his bed.
All in all, I think the home turned out great and our client was very pleased to see the final design! I hope you enjoy these photos below and find some inspiration for you own home!
Until next time,
Kris
