Hello everyone and happy Monday!
We are exactly one week away from the Christmas holidays! I hope you guys have finished up any last minute online shopping! Today I'd like to share with you the other half of my home. In a previous post I had mentioned that I did some modification to my current home and I wanted to show it to you. This cottage is from DAD, called the Sweet Haven cottage. The build is only 56 land impacts and you have the option to use outside surrounding deck or not. As I am currently using the house on a winter sim, I opted to use the standalone version. The house has this really adorable seating bench/nook with tons of great animations. As I was in the process of decorating, I did come up with an idea to further divide up the room into two, by adding in some doors and modified a fireplace to fit in the middle. I'll post a before and after picture so you guys can see it. One side is used as my living room, that you can read about here. Today, I'll be showcasing what I did with the bedroom.

DAD - Sweet haven - Modification
I wanted my bedroom to be very feminine and romantic. I've been in the market for a canopy bed for a while now, and after seeing the one that was released in this month's shadowbox set subscription from DRD, I just fell in love! It was actually one of the main pieces that I built the room decor around. I used a neutral white and wooden tones, with hints of gold and silver throughout the room. I also wanted a place that I could change my outfits, so I put together this dressing area using this amazing shelving kit that I picked up from Apple Fall. I honestly think I will probably use them in all my houses because the texturing is just so good on them! I added in little knick knacks that I collected throughout the years from different Gachas and events for a personal touch.
So there you have it, I hope you enjoyed these photos and most importantly, gathered some inspiration for your own spaces!
Until next time,
Kris x
